Dr. Robert M. Green M.D., is a board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breasts and body. He moved to Eureka in 1992 after General Surgical and Plastic Surgical training in the Ivy League at the prestigious Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in the city of New York. He was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1994 and obtained member-ship in the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in 1995. In 1999 he received the Certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Green strives to provide an artist’s eye, a sculptor’s hand and a scientist’s knowledge of the possibilities and solutions for his patients. He is dedicated in implementing technological breakthroughs in his practice, but never sacrificing integrity or humanity.
In 2008 Humboldt Bay Surgery Co-Operative was founded by Dr. Green in partnership with Anesthesiologists Peter Goldberg M.D. and Miai Lee. This onsite facility is a fully accredited and licensed ambulatory surgery center. We have a state of the art facility which allows confidential, first class outpatient surgery that is performed at a fraction of the cost, and at a higher quality than hospitals can provide.
